Q: Does anyone know if the people in New Brunswick began using snowmobiles? I searched everywhere and found nothing.
A: Do a google search for the name Armand Bombardier, the inventor of the snowmobile. He lived in Val Dor Quebec, and he built the first basic model in the 1930's. Yes, the CURRENT Bombardier company was founded by him and his sons.
After the end of the Second World War, snow scooters began to be popular, across Canada. By the 1960s they were everywhere.
